Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs presides over the prayer rites of the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Thailand

On 2 June 2021, it was announced that His Majesty the King has graciously took under royal patronage the funeral rites for His Excellency Mr. Andrii Beshta, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Thailand, who passed away on 30 May 2021.

On the same evening, His Excellency Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, presided over the prayer rites of Ambassador Beshta at Wat Thep Sirinthrawat Ratchaworawihan. Also present were Mrs. Nataliia Beshta, spouse of the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Thailand and her two sons, Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Thani Thongphakdi, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and the diplomatic corps in Thailand.

The final day of funeral rites of Ambassador Beshta will be on Friday 4 June 2021 at 18.00 hrs.; the royally sponsored cremation ceremony will be held on Saturday 5 June 2021 at 14.00 hrs. at Wat Thep Sirinthrawat Ratchaworawihan.
