On 4 July 2023 H.E. Mrs. Vilawan Mangklatanakul presented the Letters of Credence to Mrs. Zuzana Čaputová, President of the Republic of Slovakia, accrediting herself as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Slovakia.
This year marks a special occasion on the 30th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and Slovakia. Both sides, therefore, agreed to enhance more cooperation and strengthen people-to-people relations as well as the possibilities of the meetings between the high-level officers including the resumption of the Political Consultations.
