On 31st January 2023, Mr Waravuth Pouapinya presented the Letter of Credences from His Majesty the King of Thailand , accrediting him as the new Ambassador of the Kingdom
of Thailand to Aotearoa New Zealand, to the Right Honourable Dame Cindy Kiro, GNZM, QSO, the Governor-General of New Zealand at the Government House in Auckland. The Ambassador assured the Governor-General that he will do his utmost to further strengthen and promote relations in all fields and all levels between the Kingdom of Thailand and New Zealand.
